Monk / Bard / Shaman — CoinFury's Duo, Character One
Half of CoinFury's two-box pair — slow, haste, melody sustain, and Monk pull control next to a knight partner. Duo-cleared Nagafen and Vox D0–D1 and the full Plane of Hate ladder.
Overview
Documented from CoinFury TV's duo runs. Compiled guide, not their official write-up. This is character one of a two-box pair — the partner is SK / Druid / Enchanter, on its own page here.
The pair covers everything a group would: slow and buffs from the Shaman, melody sustain and pulling from the Bard, Monk melee and Feign Death pull control, with the SK partner tanking and the Enchanter side on mez. Two priests across the pair keeps both bars honest.
Logged as a duo: Nagafen and Vox at D0 and D1, and the full Plane of Hate boss ladder, both characters around +6 gear at 50. Where it stopped: Sky island 2 at D0 — level 55–63 mobs with perma-stun, charm, dispel, and knock-ups — plus the key-vanish bug (keys disappear when clicked in inventory; leave them in the bags).
Stances & Invocations
Stance
Evasive
95% chance to evade all incoming attacks. Every point evaded costs 2 endurance, reduced by Strategy skill. Evasion fails without endurance or while feigning death.
Ranger, Monk, Bard, Rogue, Beastlord
Balanced
All incoming damage −10%, chance to hit +10%. Endurance regen (excluding out-of-combat bonus) is doubled; the regen modifier stays active out of combat even when the stance isn't.
Warrior, Paladin, Ranger, Shadow Knight, Monk, Bard, Rogue, Beastlord, Berserker
Invocation
Recovery
Mana regen doubled and spells cost 5% less mana. Out-of-combat regen unaffected; the regen modifier stays active out of combat even when the invocation isn't.
Cleric, Paladin, Ranger, Shadow Knight, Druid, Bard, Shaman, Necromancer, Wizard, Magician, Enchanter, Beastlord
Divine
Spending mana heals the group member with the lowest HP percentage by that amount. Each additional wisdom class repeats the heal for 33% of the mana spent.
Cleric, Paladin, Ranger, Druid, Shaman, Beastlord
Shaman qualifies for Divine — mana spent heals whichever bar in the duo is lowest.

Playstyle Notes
This character drives the support tempo: slow first, melodies always on, FD splits. The knight partner takes the hits. Do not click instance keys — leave them in the bags until the bug is patched.
AA Priorities
- Symphonic Aura (4+) — Melody through hits
- Slow magnitude — Shaman

Pros & Cons
- A duo running full group coverage: tank, slow, mez, haste, double priest
- The whole Hate ladder on two boxes
- Boxing-tagged and built for it — the roles split cleanly across keyboards
- Sky island 2 held even at D0 — the duo ceiling is real
- The key-vanish bug ended a run; the workaround is superstition until patched
- Written pre-July-14 patch, before group raid HP scaling changed the math
