Paladin / Enchanter / Rogue — Morrolan's No-Priest Dragon Killer
Morrolan's no-priest trio — Paladin heals, Rogue lifetap poisons, charm damage. The first D4 Nagafen on file. Note: the July 14 patch gutted raid poison damage, which dates the Rogue lane.
Overview
Documented from Morrolan TV's runs before he moved to the Warrior/Shaman/Necro core. This build put the first D4 Nagafen on file. Compiled guide, not his official write-up.
No priest in the trio. Paladin heals plus Rogue lifetap poisons carry the health bar, and the build rides under half health for most of a boss fight. Charm is the damage engine — a good charm pet out-parses everything else in the kit, with the usual D4 RNG: some encounters hand you a monster, some hand you nothing charmable.
Logged: Master Yael D0–D3 at 46–48, Nagafen D3, and the first D4 Nagafen at 50 with near-raid gear and AAs. It walled on the D4 planes — Innoruuk stopped it.
Dated honestly: the July 14 patch set raid-boss poison DPS to 11–13, which guts the Rogue poison lane against raid targets. The charm engine and mana-drain tech still stand; the poison sustain does not, on bosses.
Stances & Invocations
Stance
Evasive
95% chance to evade all incoming attacks. Every point evaded costs 2 endurance, reduced by Strategy skill. Evasion fails without endurance or while feigning death.
Ranger, Monk, Bard, Rogue, Beastlord
Mage Hunter
Incoming magical damage −50%, physical −20%. Every point reduced consumes equal endurance (Strategy-reduced).
Paladin, Shadow Knight, Berserker
Invocation
Recovery
Mana regen doubled and spells cost 5% less mana. Out-of-combat regen unaffected; the regen modifier stays active out of combat even when the invocation isn't.
Cleric, Paladin, Ranger, Shadow Knight, Druid, Bard, Shaman, Necromancer, Wizard, Magician, Enchanter, Beastlord
Divine
Spending mana heals the group member with the lowest HP percentage by that amount. Each additional wisdom class repeats the heal for 33% of the mana spent.
Cleric, Paladin, Ranger, Druid, Shaman, Beastlord
Evasive on the Rogue side while the charm pet tanks; Mage Hunter for breath fights.

Playstyle Notes
Charm the best thing in the zone, ride under half health on the paladin-plus-poison sustain, drain the support adds dry, grind the boss down. Read this one as a piece of the record and a charm-tech reference — the current D4 recommendation is the Warrior/Shaman/Necro page.
AA Priorities
- Steadfast Will — Charm builds die to stuns
- Ambidexterity — Dual-wield proc rate
Gear Notes
| Item | Source | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Rogue poison stock | Crafted | Poison Making — the consumable budget was real |
| Near-raid AC pieces | Dropped | This one wanted gear and AAs before D4 |
Pros & Cons
- Proved a no-priest trio can kill a D4 dragon
- Charm damage ceiling is the highest in the game when the zone cooperates
- Mana-drain tech that strands boss healers still works
- The July 14 poison change guts the Rogue raid lane — this build is dated at the top end
- Charm RNG: some fights offer nothing worth charming
- Walled on the D4 planes even before the patch
