D0 Old patch: June 2026 beta patch

Overview

Documented from Razman's D0 rush. Compiled guide, not his official write-up.

The plan: hit every raid boss at D0 at level 49 in whatever gear you have. Charm opens the fight, slow lands, dots roll, and Paladin lifetap plus Lay on Hands covers the health bar. Nagafen fell to a charmed fire giant; Cazic went down to the charm-slow-dot loop with mana drain in reserve.

Innoruuk stopped the run even at D0 — wizard boss, mana detonation, heavy nukes. Everything else on the list went down. Good first tour of raid content before gear and AAs exist.

D4 raid soloing (Oct 2026). An Enchanter charm pet tanks while the Paladin heals and the Necromancer drains and DoTs. A fresh level 46 with spells only at rank 5–6 killed Innoruuk and Cazic-Thule on D4 with it.

Send the charm pet in first, then Scent of Darkness and Tashan's, and start your DoTs before you take any damage. Keep the slow and Wandering Mind up the whole fight. In long fights, turn melee off to save mana for heals, or leave it on when you need Smite to bring Lay on Hands back faster. The Dracolich in front of Cazic-Thule can be harder than Cazic himself — be ready to re-charm.

Stances & Invocations

Stance

Mage Hunter

Incoming magical damage −50%, physical −20%. Every point reduced consumes equal endurance (Strategy-reduced).

Paladin, Shadow Knight, Berserker

Balanced

All incoming damage −10%, chance to hit +10%. Endurance regen (excluding out-of-combat bonus) is doubled; the regen modifier stays active out of combat even when the stance isn't.

Warrior, Paladin, Ranger, Shadow Knight, Monk, Bard, Rogue, Beastlord, Berserker

Invocation

Recovery

Mana regen doubled and spells cost 5% less mana. Out-of-combat regen unaffected; the regen modifier stays active out of combat even when the invocation isn't.

Cleric, Paladin, Ranger, Shadow Knight, Druid, Bard, Shaman, Necromancer, Wizard, Magician, Enchanter, Beastlord

Arcane Mastery

Spell cast and recovery times −20%, another −10% per additional intelligence class. Detrimental spell mana cost −10%, another −5% per intelligence class.

Shadow Knight, Necromancer, Wizard, Magician, Enchanter

OverChannel

Cast spells get a −150 resist adjust plus another −15 per non-hybrid caster class, at 10% of the spell's mana cost in endurance.

Cleric, Paladin, Ranger, Shadow Knight, Druid, Bard, Shaman, Necromancer, Wizard, Magician, Enchanter, Beastlord

Divine

Spending mana heals the group member with the lowest HP percentage by that amount. Each additional wisdom class repeats the heal for 33% of the mana spent.

Cleric, Paladin, Ranger, Druid, Shaman, Beastlord

Both casters qualify for Arcane Mastery — the dot layer goes down faster. D4 open is Mage Hunter plus Over Channel. Recovery rebuilds mana, Divine is for burst heals, and Balanced is for a minute when you need endurance back.

InnoruukPlane of HateThe one that stopped the run, even at D0
DracolichIn front of Cazic-Thule. Can be harder than Cazic. Re-charm if the pet dies

Playstyle Notes

Charm, slow, dots, melee behind it, Lay on Hands in the pocket. Take Innoruuk off the list and the tour is smooth. Use it to learn boss layouts before the geared builds push tiers.

Pros & Cons

Pros
  • Every D0 raid boss except one, with no gear prerequisite
  • The cheapest way to see raid content and learn the fights
  • Charm plus fire giants is a highlight reel
  • Works at 46 with low spell ranks
  • The charm pet does most of the damage and takes the hits
  • Lay on Hands is a full heal on a short timer
Cons
  • Innoruuk says no even at D0
  • D0 only — this exact loop does not scale into D2+
  • Charm management under raid mechanics is the skill check
  • Every Smite proc costs mana, so long fights get tight
  • If the charm pet dies, you are re-charming mid-fight
  • One missed reslow can lose the kill
