Overview

Documented from chazinomaha's on-camera runs during July 2026 open beta (post-July-14 patch). Compiled guide, not an official write-up. Shaman primary.

Ranged bow + pet build; leveled 12–50 on camera and cleared D0 raid content. Ranger bow damage from range, weaving nukes between shots, over a Magician pet that tanks — the water pet backstabs without needing a dagger and hits hard. Shaman slow and Incapacitate carry survivability and let the trio punch above its level.

Known limitation: pet threat is weak on raid bosses, so expect to sit in evasive stabbing with a melee offhand while slow does the work.

Stances & Invocations

Stance

Ranged

Ranged attacks have no minimum distance, +25% accuracy, and can double and triple attack. Every point of damage consumes endurance (Strategy-reduced).

Ranger, Monk, Rogue, Berserker

Evasive

95% chance to evade all incoming attacks. Every point evaded costs 2 endurance, reduced by Strategy skill. Evasion fails without endurance or while feigning death.

Ranger, Monk, Bard, Rogue, Beastlord

Range Dance almost always; evasive for emergencies

Playstyle Notes

Ranger bow damage from range, weaving nukes between shots, over a Magician pet that tanks — the water pet backstabs without needing a dagger and hits hard. Shaman slow and Incapacitate carry survivability and let the trio punch above its level. Run Range Dance stance almost the whole time, dropping to evasive only for emergencies. Ranger's Disrupting Shot interrupts caster mobs, which shuts down clerics and the Baron of Befallen. Because the weapon slot is a bow, you can wear a shield — so the Mana Preservation II shield out of Splitpaw is a legitimate pickup. Known limitation: pet threat is weak on raid bosses, so expect to sit in evasive stabbing with a melee offhand while slow does the work.

Pros & Cons

Pros
  • True ranged playstyle with a tanking pet and full self-sufficiency
  • Shield-wearing while using a bow
  • Strong interrupt utility
  • Cleared D0 Plane of Hate including Innoruuk and D0 Master Yael on camera
Cons
  • Bows lag behind melee weapons with a rough mid-game gearing dead-zone
  • Range Dance disables the bow the moment you need a defensive stance
  • Pet threat is unreliable on raid bosses
